Shipping & Returns, & Policies : Scienscope Microscope and Video Inspection Products

SHIPPING INFORMATION
All orders are shipped FOB from the Scienscope facility in Chino CA. Lead time on most orders is 3-4 days from receipt of payment until it leaves the facility, plus transit time to your location. Shipping is prepaid and billed to the buyer unless otherwise stated. Please contact us if you have any special shipping instructions.

Please note that we cannot deliver to PO Box addresses so be sure to submit your order with a valid street address.

RETURN POLICY
To return merchandise you must first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization form (RMA). The RMA form will be faxed or emailed to you and a copy must be included as a packing slip with the returned merchandise. Any returns that arrive without an RMA form as the packing slip will not be accepted and will be returned to sender. Items must be received within 30 days of the original ship date. All items must be returned in new, unused condition and in their original packaging. You must use a traceable and insured method such as UPS or FedEx and be sure to insure your items f or the correct value. Damaged items will not be accepted and you must file a damage claim with your carrier for reimbursement.

A 15% restocking fee may apply. Please contact us for details.

Items that are considered custom or special order may not be returnable. Please contact us with any questions regarding this policy.

DAMAGED IN TRANSIT, SHORTAGES, WRONG ITEMS
All claims for shipping errors, shortages, or defective/damaged merchandise must be made within 10 business days of receipt of shipment. Credit will not be issued thereafter.

MANUFACTURER WARRANTY / DIRECT SUPPORT
Scienscope offers a 5-Year warranty on all its optical products; including microscopes, auxiliary lenses, video couplers, video lenses, and digital camera adapters. All other Scienscope products are warranted for a 1-Year period; including stands, focus mounts, light sources, light guides, cameras, and monitors; bulbs are not warranted. Scienscope has the right to replace or exchange, at its option, any and all products sent back for warranty service. Warranty service will be performed by Scienscope when a Returned Merchandise Authorization number is obtained. The defective equipment must be returned, postpaid, to Scienscope with the RMA number in the “ATTENTION TO” section. Products determined20by Scienscope to be abused, misused, or used in a negligent manner are not covered under this warranty. Damage resulting from the attempted repairs by unauthorized parties or damage due to accident will not be covered.
